The event was also streamed online for high school students, teachers, BME students, and researchers, offering a broader audience insight into the impact of academic\u2013industrial cooperation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The goal of the event was clear: to demonstrate how laboratory research evolves into industrial applications, and what tangible benefits university\u2013industry collaborations bring to the fields of automotive technology and transportation infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Leaders and experts from six major companies shared their perspectives on joint work with BME.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e1s Kemler<\/strong>, Managing Director for Technical Areas at Robert Bosch Kft.<\/strong>, highlighted how collaborative research \u2014 such as the Ground Truth Cross-Validation<\/em> and Intelligent Traffic Sensing System<\/em> developments \u2014 supports the real-world testing and industrial deployment of autonomous systems.<\/p>\n

Dr. Zolt\u00e1n Gyurk\u00f3<\/strong>, Head of Research and Development at Knorr-Bremse Braking Systems Kft.<\/strong>, discussed cybersecurity in vehicle systems and the role of artificial intelligence. He presented tools and methods \u2014 including AI-based TARA<\/em> and smart fuzzer<\/em> developments \u2014 that strengthen secure development lifecycles.<\/p>\n

These realistic scenes are now available to researchers and developers worldwide.<\/p>\n

R\u00f3bert Radnai<\/strong>, Engineering Vice President at SMR Automotive Mirror Technology Hungary<\/strong>, presented the company\u2019s innovation ecosystem, emphasizing the importance of sensor fusion, augmented reality technologies, and formally verified models in developing safe and reliable vehicle systems.<\/p>\n

Zolt\u00e1n Kar\u00e1szi<\/strong>, Chairman of the Board at QTICS Group<\/strong>, shared insights from the field of automotive conformity assessment and cybersecurity certification. Through collaboration with ARNL and BME, Hungarian engineering expertise now contributes to international homologation processes aligned with UN R155, R156, and R157 standards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
