BME x JLR TechDays 2025: Our Guest David Nesbitt, Global Director of Digital Product Platform at Jaguar Land Rover
On May 7 at 17:00, we are honored to welcome a distinguished guest at BME: David Nesbitt, Global Director, Digital Product Platform, Product Engineering at Jaguar Land Rover, will deliver a keynote lecture in Building Q. Title of the talk: “Software Defined Vehicle and Future Technologies”
The lecture is part of the two-day BME x JLR TechDays 2025 event, which highlights the long-standing and ever-deepening collaboration between Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). In recent years, this partnership has entered a new phase: we have launched training programs for JLR engineers, welcomed several of them into our PhD programs, and strengthened our relationship through a strategic cooperation agreement.
Jaguar Land Rover is currently undergoing a global transformation. The company is reshaping its future in response to the challenges driving change across the automotive industry.
At the heart of this strategy is the development of fully electric, fully connected vehicles, and a firm commitment to the top premium segment.
In parallel, we also expect JLR’s presence in Hungary and its partnership with BME to grow even stronger in the years ahead.
We are truly honored to host David Nesbitt, a leader who plays a defining role in this global transformation.
Prior to the lecture, representatives from BME and JLR will hold a professional meeting to discuss future opportunities for collaboration.
Following the talk, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to Mr. Nesbitt.
The event is free of charge, but registration is required.
We warmly welcome all interested participants!
